The weather specialist was born on August 1, 1982, in Canada. The journalist worked for CP24 as a weather specialist and remote reporter. Since joining the CP24 team in June 2011, the television host has swiftly acquired popularity among the station’s vast audience, guiding Torontonians through local predictions and extreme weather situations. She also leads visitors on a tour of other events in the Greater Toronto Area, such as the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival.
The 40-year-old reporter was featured on CTV, Global, MuchMusic, SLICE, and MTV before joining CP24. She worked as a host and writer for an Emmy Award-winning digital television station, BITE TV. She graduated from Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute High School.
She earned a journalism degree from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
The elegant journalist is actively part of her community, frequently volunteering at significant philanthropic events, awards, and galas across Canada. She has partnered with the Arrive Alive Drive Sober Charity on a public awareness campaign to end drunk driving in Ontario and Canada. She also performed her own song, “Arrive Alive,” in a nationwide television and radio public service campaign.
The weather specialist received the Harry Jerome Award from the Black Business & Professional Association(BBPA) in 2016. She received the Media Tribute Award in 2014 for her numerous efforts for the organization.
