Tony Award Winning Broadway Star Alice Ripley Denies Grooming a Teenager After TikTok Allegations Go Viral

Broadway actress Alice Ripley, who won a Tony award in 2009 for her performance in the musical Next to Normal, has been the subject of grooming allegations stemming from a TikTok posted a few days ago.

TikTok user @lovelyleobrie, aka Brie Lynn, alleges that the now 57-year-old actress began grooming her when she was only 12 years old, and the grooming continued for years.

Brie‘s video began with, “Growing up is realizing I was groomed by a Tony Award-winning Broadway actress,” showing a photo of Ripley in the background. The video contained several photos of Brie as a child with Ripley.

The video continued with Brie alleging, “Our first conversation was about a photo of you in lingerie. I was TWELVE & when I was THIRTEEN you told me that the first time we locked eyes you felt like the world stopped.”

“I’ve spent 10 years trying to convince myself it didn’t happen, that I was in the wrong,” Brie continued. “You separated me from all of the friends I had made & you made me HATE the Broadway community I once loved.”
