The Wiggles are known for being inclusive and progressive especially when it comes to children who wish to dress in clothes that aren’t typically associated with their gender.
In July 2019, Emma said it was ‘wonderful to see’ boys dressing up as her character in the audience at the band’s concerts.
‘The boys are wearing bow-ties and very interesting outfits, bows down their shirts, bows in their shoes, and in their hair. It’s bow crazy!’ she said.
The Wiggles shake up! John will join the four main members of the children’s band, plus fellow newcomers Tsehay Hawkins, Kelly Hamilton and Evie Ferris
