Small as it may be, there’s still a chance that the sliver of symbiote left in Spidey’s universe by Eddie Brock could find its way to the wall-crawler in the future, sparking a different take on the iconic story. While it might not be enough to cover Peter entirely at the moment, symbiotes are a hive mind, and as a result, it could find more of its kind in this dimension. In doing so, Holland could have a tussle with the symbiote, just like in the comics, and perhaps meet a brand new Eddie Brock along the way.
As established in “No Way Home,” with the appearance of Peter 2 (Tobey Maguire) and Peter 3 (Andrew Garfield), anyone can wear the mask, so there’s no reason that wouldn’t be true for the inky black outfit that could become bonded to the Eddie Brock of Pete’s world. If so, it would open up the opportunity for Holland to have a go with one of the most iconic villains in Spider-Man’s history and the awesome-looking (but slightly malicious) suit that comes with it.
