Green Cove Springs, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol says a 14-year-old has died after falling from a skateboard in Clay County.
Troopers say the teen was riding an electric skateboard on Plantation Ridge Parkway near Evening Breeze Lane when he fell from the skateboard and collided with the roadway.
He was transported by EMS and later died at the hospital.
Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
The crash is still under investigation.
