Ramona Pollard Obituary (2022) - Mt. Juliet, TN

Ramona Pollard (Frantz), age 86, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died December 28, 2021. Ramona was born in Greenville, NC and was the daughter of the late, Teide Edgar Pollard and Appie Moore Pollard. She grew up on a farm and loved being around her siblings. She married and lived in Salt Lake City, Utah then moved to Seattle, Washington for a few years. In 1979 she moved to Tennessee. Ramona spent many years in the banking industry. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and traveling. Ramona loved spending time with family, especially while playing card games and Scrabble. Her coconut cream pie and toffee were rivaled by none. She was a patient mother and adoring grandmother. Her warm heart and sense of humor will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Earl Pollard, Jesse Pollard, Joan Pollard, Rachel Wintamute and Bobbie Long.

She is survived by:

Children – Glen (Patti) Frantz, Steve (Stefanie) Frantz, Craig (Lynne) Frantz,

and Marla Frantz Mulliniks

Sisters – Joyce and Marie Couch

Grandchildren – Ryan Frantz, Rhiannon Frantz Dawes, Alex Foster,

Cameron Foster, Nicole Frantz, Gregory Frantz, Jacob Frantz,

Mary Catherine Frantz, Cal Frantz, Scott Frantz,

Jesse Mulliniks, and Callyn Mulliniks

Great-grandchildren – Ethan, Maya, Preston, Sebastian, Gracie, Bennett,

Greyson, Mila, Rain, and Sable.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chuck Groover officiating.
