Anyone who has entered Victoria from those areas is required to self-isolate, get tested within 72 hours of entering and stay isolated until they received a negative result.

A number of testing centres already had wait times of longer than 30 minutes on Sunday, including waits of more than an hour at The Alfred Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

The Brisbane Lions men’s AFL team, which was grounded in Victoria on Saturday waiting for negative test results following the new cases in Queensland, is expected to fly out of the state on Sunday morning.
