While the fate of Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) has yet to be determined on “General Hospital,” his portrayer recently wrote a cryptic message on Instagram: “Stay sharp, Rory.” The post was accompanied by two pictures of Rory — one in uniform and the other at an Axe throwing bar. Considering Rory followed up on a lead about the hook killer without calling for backup, one fan replied, “No Rory…. don’t do it! Call Dante for backup! Don’t leave Trina to that entitled little Cassadine brat!” As Soap Hub speculated, the show hinted that Rory could be the killer with one fan writing, “I’m sure they’ll make you psychotic and obsessed with Trina. Hence…..THE HOOK KILLER!”
Another presumptuously wrote Kruse off saying, “I will miss you on GH. Rory was so sweet!! Best of luck in prime time!!” Some fans were devastated as one emoted, “I cried during your scene today @michaelblakekruse phenomenal job I hope and pray you aren’t leaving general hospital. I really enjoy watching you.” Kruse later amended a previous Instagram post that he made. In what was his announcement about getting the part of Rory, Kruse changed the text in the post to say, “RIP RORY.”
While fans continue to speculate about who the hook killer really is, Rory hasn’t officially been declared dead yet, and we’re excited to see the direction the story takes.
