Micah Smith is an American Journalist currently working as a news anchor and reporter at Denver 7 (KMGH-TV), Denver, Colorado since December 2018. Previously, she worked as a morning anchor and reporter for WBTV News in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Micah went to Hazelwood West High School and graduated with a High School Diploma in Journalism. Afterward, she attended the University of Missouri-Columbia graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. Smith was the Journalism ambassador of the University and a member of the Legion of Black Collegians. She was also a member of the Mizzou Student Athletic Board.
Smith served as a morning reporter, and a reporter/ digital journalist for WJHL News Channel 11, Johnson City, Tennessee Area. She identified local topics, wrote, shot, and edited enterprise stories for the station. Nevertheless, she was also a producer and reporter/ anchor at KOPMU 8 News, Columbia, Missouri.
