Kilar Gillispie’s obituary notice circulated on the internet. On June 22, 2006, she was born in Newton, Kansas, to Joshua and Cree (Titus) Gillispie.
She was a frank person, loved to make videos, and was the queen of TikTok. Her smile was contagious, and she was a great human being on the inside and out.
She excelled in a variety of sports, but her favorite was soccer. She had two older sisters. However, she bid goodbye to the world at the young age of 15 as she passed away from accidental drowning in the swimming pool at her home.
Around 9:30 p.m., she was swimming alone in the pool at her home in the 10,000 block of East First Street when other family members found her unresponsive. They called 911 and performed CPR on her before taking her to Wichita hospital.
Sadly, they could not save her, but even after her death, she saved many people. Her family had said that her organs would be donated to 50 recipients.
