The announcement was made by the website Jeter founded, The Players’ Tribune, on Saturday.
‘Congratulations Derek and @hannahbjeter on the birth of your baby girl, River Rose Jeter, born Thursday, Dec. 2,’ the account tweeted.
The news will surely come as surprise as fans were unaware the parents were expecting another child.
